Formless and void: to'-hoo va bo'-hoo
At church it was said that this is "Formless and Void." Is this to set formless and void as the ultimate beginning of creation? In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth which makes the beginning point of creation gen 1:1 God created and it would stand to reason that God didn't create the heavens and the earth disorderly. It does not make since that it would be formless and void. I don't believe that it was created as "nothing" or "nothing put in a blender." This makes as much since as the Big Bang theory. There was nothing... Then it exploded!
5 Who determined its measurements—surely you know! Or who stretched the line upon it?
6 On what were its bases sunk, or who laid its cornerstone,
7 when the morning stars sang together and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
